Who is KhawaProd
Hi, my name is Quinan Khawaja, Founder and Creative Director of KhawaProd. The name is a combination of my name Khawaja and the word production (I know, very creative :).
I did not always envision starting a film production company. Though since a youth, I knew I would start my own business. Long before I knew what artistry potential I was holding on to.
Being the oldest from a family of 6, I learned Independence early on. I wasn’t the type of kid that was spoiled with new Jordans, toys, game consoles or whatever kids wanted at the time, but I had a family and a home. Both my parents worked while also at one point, attended school. Having an education was a big part of my family culture, so was working a 9-5 job. Nothing against jobs, just knew that wasn’t my soul purpose.
I couldn’t say why my gut was so sure, that in my future, I would own a company. However, anytime I had my hands on a camera, I immediately went for how to bring the best quality out of it. Didn’t matter if it was a camcorder or a cell phone, I wanted to capture the best looking image. It was a strange passion before an amazing skill.
In high school, I took multimedia arts, which pertained mainly filmmaking.
